This
may be some clue as to why most of my art and photography is based
on the beauty, symmetry and spirit of the horse.
Horses are my passion and my playtime.
They are my heart and part of my soul.
This is Miss Bing, a brilliant Arabian mare, who has been my wise
teacher, and the center of my joy. She is an independent spirit,
the epitome of honest pride, keeper of the equine history, a mischievous
sprite, and a terrific trail companion. She will always remain the
most pure equine spirit to me.

This
is Bodhi, my sister's chocolate palomino, who shares her same generosity
of heart. Here he is offering me the thrill of playing with cows.
He is a luxury cruiser and a solid gentleman.

I have
the privilege of living where I can fully enjoy the mountains
and the ocean. Both nourish me and are the seeds for my creativity.
I am
a designer at heart, no matter what medium of application or what
aspect of my living. It is how I live and adorn my world.
I love the base texture and technique of pencil work as well as
the freedom from "illustration" that painting allows.
Photography allows me to document some of the beauty that this
planet and all of its' inhabitants continuously provide. I believe
my art spans the gamut, from childish whimsy to dark ephemeral
consideration.
I also
write continuously. Writing allows the spaces to be filled that
I dance around in my art. The Village Voice, will eventually harbour
my stories, my poetry and my written perspectives. (Is this a
blog in the making)?
I
have a son and a daughter, both on opposite corners of the globe
from me.
My
husband, an artist and a musician, is the enforcer of my courage
and my introduction into vast love and friendship.
I
would love to hear from you.
