I often just "draw" right on the computer screen. Other times I may sketch an outline to follow in the first steps of developing the imagery. My illustration really grows as I move along. It always seems to go a little further than I had expected, and thus I am always finding the absurdity of expectation. I am often surprised by the final product and that always amuses me and gives me a grateful heart to whatever it is within that moves along beyond me, in spite of me, without me, around me, through me, with me. Art always has more.
